ONE MISSION, TWO ORGANIZATIONS
Project PEARLS operates through two separate, legally registered nonprofits: Project PEARLS Philippines and Project PEARLS USA. Each entity has its own governance, operations, and compliance requirements, but both are united by the same purpose and direction. Melissa Villa is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of both organizations, ensuring shared alignment and integrity across the work.
Project PEARLS Philippines — Our Mission (On-the-ground programs)
To help the poorest of the poor children have a better life by giving them PEARLS: Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love and Smiles through education, empowerment, nutrition, nourishment, and healthcare.
Project PEARLS USA — Our Mission (Global support + storytelling)
Project PEARLS USA connects compassion across continents by mobilizing global support to sustain life-changing programs in the Philippines that feed, educate, and empower children and families. We uplift Filipino and diaspora stories through art, culture, and creative expression—building bridges that inspire shared humanity and lasting change.
