Over the course of a meaningful two-day event, the FactSet Philippines team stepped up in a massive way. More than 400 volunteer employees dedicated their time and energy to pack school supplies, helping our scholars prepare for the upcoming academic year.
To make this initiative truly meaningful, our volunteers went a step beyond the essentials. Recognizing that the right words can spark the brightest futures, they hand-wrote personal letters of motivation and encouragement to place inside each bag. From words of wisdom to beautifully folded origami surprises, the team poured their hearts into creating a genuine, personal connection with every single recipient.
For our volunteers, the event was about far more than just packing bags, it was about delivering hope and empathy. One volunteer beautifully shared what the experience meant to them:
“Writing these messages feels so meaningful because you never know what a child might be going through—sometimes, a simple word of encouragement is enough to keep them going. We are very happy to volunteer because the opportunity was very accessible. It brings us so much joy that we were able to give our time and effort to help these children through volunteering.”
By keeping volunteer opportunities accessible and seamless, FactSet Philippines was able to turn collective effort into life-changing encouragement for these students.
