Building a future where every child knows their worth and their rights.
Our scholars took part in a meaningful Child Safety Training facilitated by the dedicated CMU Social Work Interns. Through fun, interactive activities, the children learned how to stay safe, recognize their rights, identify unsafe situations, and express their emotions confidently.
The five-module training, guided by Ms. Bendanillo, created a supportive space where scholars practiced teamwork, explored boundaries, and discovered healthy ways to manage emotions. Each session helped them feel more aware, secure, and empowered in their everyday surroundings.
One scholar shared: “Natutunan ko po na magsabi agad kapag may hindi magandang nangyari. Kailangan pong lumapit sa taong pinagkakatiwalaan.” Her insight reflects the heart of the program—encouraging children to speak up and protect themselves.
