Project PEARLS, in partnership with The Garden of Hope Foundation, held two more orientation events this 2025 for the Asian Girls Campaign 2025 under the theme “Empowering Girls through Community-Building.” The first orientation was held on March 8, 2025, for youth participants in Cavite, followed by a second session on March 18, 2025, for youth in Tondo.
The orientation aimed to highlight the importance of empowering girls as active contributors to community development. Girls bring new perspectives and creative approaches to solving local challenges. Their involvement leads to more inclusive and responsive programs that strengthen communities.
These orientations also became an avenue to promote the partnership with Garden of Hope and to introduce their Asian Girls Campaign program to participating youth here in the Philippines. It provided a platform for girls to learn how they can take part in ongoing initiatives, become agents of positive change in their communities, and work alongside other girls as aspiring fellows from different countries in Southeast Asia.
By encouraging girl-led engagement and leadership, the campaign supports the broader goal of building a more inclusive and equitable society. Thank you to The Garden of Hope Foundation for the continued partnership!
