Breaking the Generational Trauma Talk

Healing begins the moment someone feels seen.

Our scholars’ parents from Tondo, Naic, and Bulacan gathered not just for a workshop—but for a moment many of them had never been given before: the space to breathe, to reflect, and to understand the wounds they’ve carried for years.

With guidance from our compassionate facilitators from City of Malabon University, Ms. Madonna Ang-Sundiam and Mr. Daniel T. Santiago, parents opened up about pain, learned new ways to love, and discovered that breaking generational trauma is possible… and it can start with them.

Every tear, every nod, every shared story reminded us:

when one parent heals, one child’s future changes.

Together, we are breaking the cycle—one conversation, one family, one brave heart at a time.
