MANILA, PHILIPPINES- BBC World Service follows on this report the heartbreaking reality of the people living in Helping Land, Tondo Manila and their daily source of food: recycled meat from trash. Project PEARLS is one of the many NGOs that help in this community. The issue of poverty and malnutrition in the Philippines is complex. However, we can do something to help them.
