This is an urgent message. The coronavirus crisis and the community quarantines in the Philippines forced children and families in our communities to starve. The pandemic has resulted in a severe economic and social crisis. The lockdowns and work closures have left thousands of our fellow Filipinos jobless. Most of them work in the informal sector as drivers, garbage scavengers, vendors, construction workers, and other daily-wage earners. The heartbreaking reality is that staying home for them means losing a day of work and losing meals for their families.
To ease this burden for the families and to ensure that children have at least one healthy meal in a day, especially in this time of post-pandemic crisis, we have the Hunger Relief Program in our serviced locations in Tondo, Bulacan, and Cavite.
With the help of our community volunteers and heroes, we are able to serve hearty and healthy breakfast meals for hundreds of children and their families.

The budget to sponsor a feeding day is PHP 20,000 (USD 400) for more than 400 healthy meals for children. This is done every Thursday to Sunday in Tondo, Manila, and every Saturday in Brgy.
