Plush Making Workshop at Google Philippines

August 6 and 13, 2026

iVolunteer invited GROW to conduct Plush Making Workshop for GoogleServe – Google’s annual global employee volunteering campaign. Held at Google Philippines office on August 6 and 13, 2026. Two GROW Nanays facilitated the workshop.

Last year GROW also conducted a Daloy workshop (macrame tumbler holder) with Google thru iVolunteer. They donated the finished Daloy bags with tumblers to Project PEARLS Scholars.

This year, all finished Plush will be donated to Cottolengo Filipino thru iVolunteer.

Cottolengo” (or “Cotolengo”) refers to charitable care centers for people with severe physical and mental disabilities. The name comes from Saint Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo, an Italian priest who founded the Little House of Divine Providence in Turin in the 19th century. Locally in Rizal, Philippines, Cottolengo Filipino Inc. provides residential and rehabilitation care for abandoned or neglected persons with disabilities.
