International Youth Day (Hawak-Kamay Hanggang sa Kinabukasan)

August 1, 2026

Last August 1, our Brain Booster scholars from Bulacan and Tondo came together to celebrate International Youth Day through the meaningful activity, “Hawak-Kamay Hanggang sa Kinabukasan.

The activity highlighted the importance of unity, cooperation, and supporting one another as young people work toward a better and more peaceful future.

One of our participants from Bulacan, 14-year-old Mark, a Grade 9 scholar and mentor, shared how the activity helped him appreciate the value of working together. Through his drawing, Markhie portrayed family members with different professions—police officer, doctor, engineer, and soldier—showing that despite having different roles, we can accomplish more when we unite and support one another.

“Habang nagtuturo po ako, patuloy din akong natututo at nahahasa ang aking kaalaman at kakayahan.”

Markhie’s story reminds us that young people are not only learners but also mentors, leaders, and changemakers.

From Bulacan to Tondo and Naic, we continue to walk hand in hand with our young scholars—empowering them to learn, lead, and dream of a brighter future.
