When someone chooses to celebrate their birthday by feeding others, that’s when you know the world is still full of good.
This month, Arlene van Vegchel marked her 50th birthday in the most beautiful way — by sponsoring a Feeding Program for our children in Tondo and donating ₱3,600 worth of art materials for our Bright Beginnings and After School Program scholars. She didn’t just give from a distance — she showed up, sat with our children, and celebrated with them.
Fifty years old, and still choosing to spend her special day making sure a child in Tondo goes to bed with a full stomach and a full heart. That’s the kind of birthday wish that changes lives.
