Our After School Program (ASP) continues to empower young scholars from Bulacan and Tondo as they develop their reading skills through the Marungko Approach.
For Pauline, 15 years old, Grade 9, being part of ASP has given her the opportunity not only to learn, but also to help younger children discover the joy of reading.
“Natutunan ko po na hindi agad pantig ang unang itinuturo, kundi ang sounds o tunog ng mga letra.”
Pauline is excited to return the following Saturday and continue teaching the children how to read. Her experience reminds us that learning becomes even more meaningful when it is shared with others.
Through ASP, young people like Pauline are becoming learners, mentors, and role models, creating a ripple of learning within their communities.
