Brain Booster: National Flag and Philippine Independence Day

June 8, 2019 | Helping Land, Tondo, Manila, Philippines

Today’s goal for our Brain Booster activity was to honor our beloved country, the Philippines.

In line with this week’s celebration of National Flag Day and Philippine Independence Day, our Kids’ Art time focused on the creative making of the Philippine flag.

Kids were instructed to draw a bond-paper sized flag and they have to color it using crepe papers.

Volunteers patiently assisted the children and it seemed that they had fun as well!

After an hour, here’s some of the kid’s finished artworks!

Thank you so much Concentrix Services Corporation for sponsoring today’s feeding and Brain Booster activity! Thank you also for joining us this morning to volunteer!

More photos are on our official Facebook Account: www.facebook.com/projectpearls1

Shout to our photographer-volunteer Rita Dela Cruz for all the amazing photos! Thank you so much!

And thank you volunteers for helping out today!
