Today is an extra happy day!
As a reward for their hard work in the 2018-2019 ‘After School Program’, our top scholars and LitClub members in Tondo, Manila went on a field trip.
We began the day with presenting special awards to our scholars. These awards were for the most diligent students and best in attendance.
After awards and feeding, we were ready for the field trip!
Our first stop was the National Planetarium. Here we watched a film about the billion stars in space!
The kids enjoyed it so much! This was their first time watching a film above their head.
After exploring the National Planetarium, kids had a picnic at Luneta Park.
Thank you Kuya Juan for cooking spaghetti and for making tuna sandwich for the kids!
The kids then had a great time watching the film, ‘Dumbo’ at Robinsons Place Manila’s Movie World.
One last stop before going home: Shakey’s! It was pizza time!
Surely everyone had a very great time today! It was a great reward for these kids’ hard work.
Keep it up, scholars! We hope that you will continue to soar high this upcoming school year and in the many years to come.
