We are delighted to see our PEARLS kids in these professional-looking (and super cute) uniforms which are entirely different from their usual tattered clothes in Helping Land, Tondo. Thank you, McDonald’s Philippines for this opportunity!

The kids attended a 5-day summer workshop program that teaches them the values of discipline, hard work, teamwork, responsibility and sharing through art workshops, on-the-floor training and other fun group activities. And they enjoyed it well. While they were learning, they were having fun!

Nothing excites us in Project Pearls more than seeing these children having same educational
opportunities as others regardless if they live in the slums – most probably the poorest and dirtiest in Manila. We hope to see them have a better future and live differently the way they are now.

Let’s help these children break the cycle of poverty by providing them the best weapon: EDUCATION.
