In celebration of Earth Day, PEARLS kids created their own artwork entitled, “The Earth is in My Hands”. This activity is meant to celebrate the little things we can do to protect our environment. Janiza, a PEARLS scholar and active participant of the Brain Booster program, told us how the Brain Booster is enjoyable because she enjoys seeing her own creation. It makes her proud of the things she can do with her creativity!
PEARLS kids showed that caring for the Earth starts with small steps. Through the guidance of their Ate and Kuya volunteers, and the support of programs like Brain Booster, children like Janiza are discovering the power of their own hands to shape a better world.
