International Day of the Girl Child

October 15,2022

“Our time is now—our rights, our future.”

For this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, the focus is on the multitude of challenges put in front of girls’ paths to reach their potential.

Empowering girls is something we take pride in. Through our scholarship program, we empower the young generation of future leaders, regardless of gender, by sending them to school and helping them rise from poverty. We firmly believe that education is imperative because it enables them to participate in the labor force and allows them to sustain the needs of their family, which will end the cycle of poverty.

To commemorate this important day, we asked our girl scholars to draw their portraits and write their strengths while our boy scholars were asked to draw a portrait of the woman they admire the most.

Check out their beautiful and meaningful artwork here!

Bring joy to hundreds of children.
