As early as five in the morning in Helping Land, Tondo, Nanay Narcisa starts to fall in line in our courtyard to get their breakfast meals so that her two grandchildren can wake up with food on their table.
This is also the same with our other community members. For most of them, this is the only assurance that they and their families can get a complete and healthy meal for the day.
Today, through the generosity of Diane Perral-Ong, they received servings of ground pork with mixed vegetables topped with quail eggs, rice, and watermelon.
