Due to the effects of the pandemic, more Filipino families are going to bed hungry and waking up hungrier, but through the support of our sponsor all the way from the US, The Rotary Club SF Chinatown, we won’t allow this to happen.
Their kindness and generosity helped us sustain today’s Hunger Relief Program in Helping Land, Tondo, which catered to more than 500 of the most vulnerable families. They were given hot and warm breakfast meals of misua soup, rice, steamed dumplings, boiled eggs, and pineapples.
Thank you so much for backing our mission of feeding the hungry during these difficult times, The Rotary Club SF Chinatown! Truly, you all saved hundreds of lives this morning.
