The spirit of Christmas stays with us through the generosity of our Christmas Heroes who supported our “Adopt a Family” campaign last December. Still, after three months, their bountiful donations can sponsor our Hunger Relief Program in our three communities.
Last Friday, our community in Helping Land, Tondo, received life-giving bowls of Bicol Express (Filipino-styled spicy pork stew), rice & bananas. In Batia, Bulacan, more than 500 children and families had sautéed mung beans with moringa leaves and pork crackling, rice & banana for breakfast. While in Naic, Cavite, our community started their day with servings of Bicol Express (Filipino-styled spicy pork stew), rice & watermelon.
