Be a Ninong or a Ninang (Godfather or Godmother) This Christmas!
Christmas is a day of meaning and traditions. But for families living in poverty, Christmas can be just an ordinary day. For many, Christmas can also be the saddest day.
Every year, Project PEARLS aims to ensure that these families at the poor communities we serve, can also have a Merry Christmas. We want to ensure that their food is not recycled from garbage as shown below:
And that the children will have a brand new toy for Christmas; and not a toy that they found on garbage.
For only $20 or Php 1000, one family will receive a Christmas Dinner Pack good for 8 and all the children will also receive Christmas gifts. We want these families to have a decent dinner when they gather around the table with their loved ones on Christmas Day and for the children to have Christmas presents to open with so much joy, excitement and gratitude.
Last year, we exceeded our goal because of friends, supporters, donors and kind strangers who got together for one common goal: To help as many families and children have a merry Christmas. Over a thousand families received Christmas Dinner Packs and over 3000 children had Christmas gifts.
This year, Project PEARLS’ goal is to “adopt” at least 1000 poor and poorest families in the communities we serve around Philippines. And we need your help! Adopt a family this Christmas and be their Ninong or Ninang (godfather or godmother)!
For only $20 or Php1000, you can share the true spirit of Christmas with the families living in poverty this holiday season. Your contribution of $20 will provide a family a dinner pack good for 8 people; their children will each get Christmas gifts; and they are invited to our Christmas party where they will enjoy a good meal, the festivities and they will come home with their dinner pack and Christmas gifts!
