We aimed for 300-500 pairs and because of the support and generosity from around the globe, we were able to raise over a thousand pairs that equates to a thousand smiles and healthy feet! THANK YOU TO ALL who supported and made this RAIN BOOTS DRIVE a huge success.
The children of Helping Land live in one of the poorest and dirtiest slum communities in Manila, Philippines. These children live around and of garbage. Imagine during rainy season, their community is flooded with dirty water and floating garbage. Most of these children do not have rain boots to protect their feet from the possible diseases they can acquire.
We are accepting new pairs of rain boots for children and youth between the ages of 3 and 17. The drop off locations in Metro Manila are: 168 P.
