Last year, some of our friends, Tina, Amelia and Jennifer from our New York-based partner, LitWorld made a one-week visit to the Philippines and to Project PEARLS. They held the first ever Art Story Summit to the LitClubs in Helping Land and Batia, Bulacan .
Our LitClub Regional Coordinator, Peachy Abellon along with other PH LitClub mentors meanwhile headed the Art Story Summit for the Zambales and Zamboanga LitClub communities.
The LitClub kids from these different communities made their own River of Life, an art activity highlighting on the different shapes and perspectives that a person has in his or her life. This activity was one of the art activities that the delegates of the Global HerStory Summit did.
