Operation One Love: Day 5

Five days on air, sea, and land with these crazy, yes crazy PEARLS volunteers made this Project Pearls Operation One Love worthwhile and very memorable.

They are all crazy enough to give up their work vacation days; sacrificed family days, not to mention Valentine’s Day with loved ones; stayed in places where cockroaches and ants were part of the welcome committee; slept in cramped rooms and vans; crashed at the end of the day from exhaustion but still smiling, laughing, grateful and prayerful. And woke up and ready for an early call time the following day, again still smiling, laughing, grateful and prayerful.

I couldn’t thank you all enough! There are no words to describe the renewed hope and joy each of you brought to the children and their families who are trying to bring normalcy in their lives after Typhoon Yolanda. I am very, very proud of you and inspired by each one of you!

They said I am crazy and a dreamer, I am glad I am not the only one.

MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT!
